Modern Plastics is an American distributor and fabricator of engineering and medical-grade plastic materials founded in 1945. The company operates from Shelton, Connecticut, and has been part of the Laird Plastics organization since 2006 while retaining its own brand. It supplies plastic sheet, rod, tube and specialty stock with material traceability, alongside cut-to-size processing, custom machining and fabrication for industrial and medical customers.
