Description

The PET Technologies APF-30 L is an automatic stretch blow molding machine for PET kegs and large watercooler bottles. The manufacturer also identifies this version as APF-30 250 and specifies output of up to 250 bottles per hour. Applications include one-way and returnable 4 to 5-gallon water bottles, with the container design and preform selected for the intended use. The machine is designed to heat heavy, thick-walled preforms before stretching and blowing. Its features include servo-driven stretching, preform transfer manipulators, additional bottle-base cooling, compressed-air recovery and an oriented bottle outfeed. B&R PLC control manages the automated process. PET kegs and watercooler bottles can be produced on the same machine model with the appropriate tooling and setup.
